tools of the trade by Liane Sebastian

It is easy for a graphics person to become overwhelmed because there is always too much to do. But the good news is that sustaining a project is what matters the most, and I have just finished the fifth issue of Bowler Business Review which has influenced all my blog entries this month:

tools of the tradePublishing Pioneer
looks at the series approach to the cover designs—comparing the six issues so far and the elements of classic approaches.

tackles the challenge of visual representation and discusses the approach to the cover collage—meshing the very different business disciplines of Stevie Cooperstone.

talks about the articles featured—particularly two icons of virtual culture and achievement, plus one quintessential entrepreneur.

confesses what is learned about myself in a virtual world—seems the further away we get from reality, the more we return to it!

This magazine expands my deep need to advance from book design further into periodicals—even finding a balance between the two. Always inspired—Liane
